Let’s make a fun bag! In this workshop we will be making the Staple Sling by Motif Studio. 

The Staple Slip is a versatile, reversible shoulder bag with ties that is perfect everyday outings and travel.

This workshop is totally beginner friendly and would be a great first project!

This workshop includes:

• 5 hours of instructions in a small group

• All of the fabric and thread needed to make the bag

• A printed copy of the pattern to take home with you & a digital copy of the pattern

• Morning tea 

• New sewing friends!

All fabric, supplies, and equipment are provided - just bring yourself!

Skill level:

Beginner. Even if you have never sewn before, I promise you can do it!

Skills we will cover:

• Working with a pattern (learning different markings)

• Using a sewing machine

• Basic seams

• Creating a reversible item

• And more!

Fabric options

As this workshop includes fabric, you’ll have to pick two colours (one for your outer and one for your lining)! You’ve got six beautiful linens and seven cottons to choose from: Natural, Pine, Butter Yellow, White, Light Blue, Lime, Raspberry Gingham, Orange Blossom, Ivory Seersucker, Gelato Check, Sky Floral Seersucker, Candy Stripe, Blue Pinstripe - shown in order below.

They are all perfect for making the Staple Sling.
