  • We currently offer 3 main types of workshops. Project based workshops, Sew and Sip workshops and our Beginner Sewing Workshop. If you are a total newbie we recommend checking out our Beginner Sewing Workshops. If you have a little bit of sewing experience and are looking to expand your skills we recommend our project based workshops. If you are after more of a sewing taster and creative activity, we recommend our Sew and Sip workshops.

    Other occasional workshops we offer include Kids and Teens sewing workshops and mending workshops. Head to our events page to see what we have coming up!

  • Sewing socials are casual gatherings where we all work on our own projects, share tips, and enjoy hanging out! It’s also perfect if you need a little bit of help or guidance for the project you are working on - there will always be someone there to help! Our sewing socials are BYO project and sewing machine; we provide an overlocker, iron and snacks! You can also choose to hire a machine if you need.

  • For all workshops, sewing machine use is included, so you don’t need to bring one! All materials are included for our project based workshops and Sew and Sip workshops. For our Beginner Sewing Workshop you can choose to add on a materials pack or bring your own materials. Sewing socials are designed to bring your own machine and materials.   • Yes, we offer workshops specifically designed for beginners. Each class description will indicate the skill level required, so you can choose the one that best fits your experience.

  • Absolutely! We offer customised sewing workshops for special events, such as birthday parties, bridal showers, and corporate team-building activities. Contact us for more details. Our space currently can host up to 7 people, however if you have a larger group get in touch and we can discuss options.

  • Our Beginner Sewing Workshops, project based workshops and Sewing Socials are appropriate for a range of age groups ( recommended 16+). Sew and Sips are 18+. Kids and Teens sewing workshops are recommended ages 10-16.

  • Yes, we provide all necessary patterns and instructions for the projects covered in our workshops.

  • Sew and Sip workshops are BYO drinks and snacks. All other workshops and socials include snacks and/or lunch! Please check the event description for more details.

  • We currently sell fabric by the meter that you can purchase during an event or online. We are working on more retail items such as sewing supplies and other materials, so keep your eye out!

  • There is only street parking available at our location, but there is usually plenty available.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy (think lots of threads everywhere!). If you are attending a clothes making workshop, wear something that will be easy to try your item on with.
