Our popular pants workshop is back for August! In this full day workshop, we will be making the Pomona Pants by Anna Allen.

The Pomona Pants are elastic waist, high rise and loose fitting. They feature no side seams, a wide leg and include patch pockets. In other words, they are perfect linen pants to add to your wardrobe!

This workshop includes:

• 7 hours of instructions in a small group

• All of the fabric, thread and elastic to make the pants

• A printed copy of the pattern to take home with you & a digital copy of the pattern

• Morning tea and lunch

• New sewing friends!

All fabric, supplies, and equipment are provided - just bring yourself!

Skill level:

Beginner. Even if you have never sewn before, I promise you can do it!

Skills we will cover:

• Taking your measurements

• Working with a pattern (picking your size and learning different markings)

• Adding patch pockets

• Using an overlocker/serger

• Creating an elastic casing and inserting elastic

• Hemming

• And more!

Fabric options

As this workshop includes fabric, you’ll have to pick a colour! You’ve got seven beautiful linens to choose from: Pine, Natural, Khaki, Azure Stripe, Butter Yellow, Jacaranda and Peach - shown in order below.

They are all 100% linen and perfect for making the Pomona Pants.

Measurements

To prepare the pattern we will need to know your waist and hip measurements. If you can’t provide those now, don’t worry, we can add later.
