Wollongong Sewing & Crafting Guide!
Hello my Wollongong friends! I am missing you all very much now that I’m not getting to sew with you in person. But I’m here to help you fill that TSC hole in your life with a guide of Wollongong based sewing and crafting events, classes and places to shop!
I hope this guide can evolve and grow as more crafty things pop up, so if you know of some crafty goodness that is not on the list, please let me know!
Regular Social Events
Bobbin Babes Sewing Club
Like a book club, but for sewing! Bobbin Babes hosts monthly meet ups based around sewing a pattern altogether.
Emma from Bobbin Babes picks a pattern each month and the idea is that everyone sews it during that month and then meets up at the end to chat about it. How fun!
Bobbin Babes events are free and accessible for everyone, even if you haven’t sewn the pattern, you can still join to socialise and admire others makes!
To find out when their events are and what patterns they are sewing, follow them on Instagram!
